This book is a show case of 50 the most wonderful women in Louisville, drawn by me.
"I started this project Babes of Louisville nearly 2 years ago. As someone that was pretty isolated I was captivated and inspired by so many women in Louisville. For a very long time I spent my time on the side lines. When I went out I never felt cool enough to interact with the people I saw at shows etc. They sparkled like diamonds, like the sun and I could never get close! Slowly I put myself out there more and more and I did it with the one thing I have always felt confident in... my art. Eventually I met those dream women who seemed so bright and I found out they were just like me. I wanted to create a whole book just about them. As this project got off the ground so many people approached me to have their loved one drawn in this book. It was never a lottery or a popularity contest, only a love letter from me (the nervous shy one) to the women that always awed me."
